| Opis stanowiska | Our client has been recognized as one of the leading worldwide providers of IP-based communications services to businesses. They also have the nation's fastest 3G network and the largest international coverage of any U.S. wireless carrier, offering the most phones that work in the most countries; the largest Wi-Fi network in the United States; and the largest number of high speed Internet access subscribers in the United States. Scope of responsibilities: Working as an individual and as part of a team deploying new customer locations or changes to existing customer networks. Main responsibilities will include the ability to produce technical documentation, along with liaising with third parties and internal groups to schedule and support changes within agreed time scales arranged with the customer. The individual is responsible for technical validation of the solution, updates to AT&T internal databases, planning and preparation of migration plans for cut-over to the AT&T service. Customer facing activities include verifying technical requirements, migration technical planning & scheduling, joint AT&T and customer migration and testing. |

| Wymagania | Technical skills: Engineers are provided with extensive technical and process training upon joining the team; however the following proficiencies are advantageous when considering candidates qualifications: - IP and Data Routing Technology and Policies - Network design - IP subnetting - Network protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSFP, RIP, EIGRP, MPLS, Ethernet etc. - Security: NAT configuration, Proxy server, and Firewalls - Data communications: OCx, T1, E1, T3, E3 and their fractional variants, Frame Relay, DSL, ATM, SDH, and Voice Over-IP. Hardware: - Cisco routers, multiplexers, switches - Zhone / Paradyne Enhanced Reporting equipment - CSU/DSU, IMA equipment, modems Education: - University education - Bachelor level or Major in technical subject or - Secondary school education with relevant work experience record - Telecommunications/Networking field of study is advantage Minimum entry externally recognized qualification for the Engineering role is CCNA level, but CCNP/CCIP is highly desirable. Partially completed certification is acceptable. Language skills: - Strong communication skills in English, both written & verbal (upper-intermediate to advanced level) - Working experience in English-speaking country is very welcome Other qualifications: - Customer handling skills - Flexibility - Analytical skills - Handles stress situations well |
